Supplies Needed for Mrs. Zeismer's Room

Please note that with the integration of Pathways this year, there will be a learning curve on supplies needed.

Pathways is an activity rich, interdisciplinary program and does not utilize very many workbooks or prepared worksheets.  So please take advantage of the Back-To-School sales and purchase a wide variety of school supplies while they are cheap.  Anything not on sale, can be purchased and replenished as needed during the school year.

*          Would prefer for the 3 Ring Binders to have the clear pocket covers so that students can properly identify their binders, and keep a clean appearance to their work.

**        Ruler should start with the measurements right at the edge (O on the cut) if at all possible to avoid confusion while measuring.

***      20/$1 style without decoration. Students will use these to organize their projects, and lots of work units throughout the year. A variety of colors will be wonderful to help them organize themselves. They will also potentially decorate the covers to go with the themes.

****    The cheap "Back to School Sale" style. Spelling, Journals, Computer Logs and Math will be done in notebooks. Determination about other subjects will be made as we see what student needs are with the new program. A variety of colors will help the students organize themselves.

***** Ziploc bags will be used to control the clutter of student’s individual projects, math flash cards, vocabulary manipulative's, broken art supply boxes, pieces of works in process, etc. Bags will be put into a central supply and be pulled out as needed.
