Outdoor Education is hosted at Camp Wakonda each September for students in Grades 5-6.  Students explore nature, partcipate in hands-on learning, connect nature to many different areas of curriculum content- and have LOTS OF FUN!

Each December we present our Christmas Play at the annual Christmas Vespers.  Students, staff, and alumni work together to tell the story of Jesus' birth from various perspectives of the characters in the nativity story.

Our September Field Trip was to the Iron Mine just east of Iron Mountain, Michigan.
All students in grades 1-8 went to explore the innards of the earth as it was dug out in order to recover the iron ore needed for manufacturing.  The mine passed through several owners hands in a relatively short period of time, and is operated as a museum today.  More of the iron ore could be mined out, but due to the price drop years ago, it is not considered profitable enough to work with today.

All of our special days, field trips and programs are listed on the school calendar.
